Stewart Investment Partners (or “SIP”) is a privately owned, full-service real estate investment, management, and development company focused primarily on core-plus and value-add Healthcare and Commercial real estate located throughout the Mid-Atlantic region utilizing premier institutional capital partners.
Founded in 2017 by John Stewart, the company seeks both opportunistic and long-term investments in high quality Healthcare and Commercial real estate specializing in complex transaction structures and difficult repositioning programs. We are particularly adept at buying from institutional owners who may not have the operational flexibility, or the skill set to properly undertake the most advantageous redevelopment strategy. The company’s focus is largely on off-market transactions, as well as difficult repositioning opportunities that are widely marketed. Our team has successfully operated, developed, and re-developed over 5 million square feet of healthcare, commercial and multi-family assets. We use a customer-based approach to identify issues that are important to prospective tenants as well as potential institutional buyers of our redeveloped assets. Ultimately, through redevelopment we create institutional quality exits from non-institutional assets.
